PROCESS FILTRATION
Filters are use to clarify chemical raw ingredients, mixes, or blends based on the specifications of each application.
They are also used to remove any undissolved solids and/ or gels following a chemical reaction.
SURFACE TREATMENT
One of C.C. Day company’s many specialties is specifying and optimizing fluid filtration for the electroplating, anodizing, and metal finishing industries.
Applications include: dip tanks, in-tank filtration, oil removal, wastewater discharge, specialty chemical filtration, and air filtration for spray-booths.

Coatings require a high attention to detail and customer requirements. Filters are used to clarify and to remove gels from the final product.
Classification of specialty pigmented coatings is dependent on filters. Classification is the process of removing solids of a certain size and larger, while allowing smaller solids, such as pigments and oxides, to remain in the product.
Classification filters have sharp cutoffs at the retention level to achieve these goals.

Phenolic resin bonded filter bags offer a non-compressible depth-filter medium in order to provide a filter that holds up to the rigors of high viscosity fluid processes and provides greatly enhanced solids loading capacity. This product excels in a wide variety of high viscosity fluid filtration applications where the removal of solids and problematic gels is required.

Made from virgin Polypropylene, these housings custom encapsulate any of our filter cartridge medias. They are the safest, cleanest and most economical filter housing system available.
The disposable housing quick connects to the manifold head assembly. The removal of the housing is quick, clean and efficient.

Made from a polypropylene felt microfiber medium, these logs can ether be inserted inside a filter bag or can float on top of oil-contaminated drums, vats or dip tanks. The unique design enhances the mediums ability to “wick” free oil and grease from contaminated liquid.
